Orki Flower - Duo Lilac

From the Plèi collection and made entirely from upcycled leather offcuts. the “Orki” flower is a dreamlike plant. reminiscent of wisteria with its eight-tiered conical shape and sloping stem. Its circular petals of decreasing size are made of two types of leather. folded and hand-sewn together. evoking the elegance of an orchid. A slender leaf is stitched along the leather-covered stem.This flower can be displayed in a bud vase. with other leather flowers. or in a bouquet of dried flowers.The name “Orki” is a play on the word “orchid”. echoing the flower which served as the inspiration for the petals in this piece.
